If you didn't hear, there was a tsunami and a number of earthquakes that hit my home country of Samoa. The tsunami hit the South-East part of the country, which happens to be where my village is. The tsunami killed both my grandparents, they were simply not strong enough to hold out against the waves, the first wave reaching almost 30 feet in height. Luckily my cousin who was with them at that time manged to survive by staying on top of the mountain behind our house. The tsunami struck without warning, hitting at 5:45am, it was pitch black. I am going to Samoa today to help clean up what is left of my village. The death toll of this disaster has reached the thousands and continues to climb as disease has stuck, the deaths rising now by the hundreds.

As I already am very inactive I would just like to say that I will not be able to log in at all. I will be in Samoa for a number of weeks.

Please pray for all the families who have lost, who have cried, and have to remember these sad days for the rest of their lives.
